When? Wednesday, June 5 (9:30 a.m. to noon)

Where? Cornerstone Baptist Church, 18040 Unsicker Rd, Groveland, IL

Why? It’s a chance to sell your items & shop for the next school year. The 2023 sale hosted 54 sellers. Come early for the best selection. Doors open for shopping at 9:30 a.m.

Non-subscribers wishing to sell will be charged $25 to register plus an additional $1 fee if paying with a debit or credit card at the sale. Sellers keep 100% of their sales dollars (there is no commission taken out.)

Why do you need my information if I am a seller and why should I pre-register? All sellers need to register (either in advance by June 3rd or at the door) so we know where to mail your check and so we can contact you during the sale, if necessary. Registration will take a couple of minutes before you put your items in the sale. Pre-registered sellers will have a separate check-in spot for quicker entry. You can pre-register here.

Shroud of Turin

LCMC pastor Fred Baltz will host a presentation at Living Waters on the Shroud of Turin at 4PM, with a special viewing of a Shroud replica at 2PM. The Shroud of Turin has presented a mystery both to the faithful and the scientific community for hundreds of years. Traditionally purported to be the burial shroud of Jesus, this 12 foot long linen contains a faint image of a crucified man that matched the wounds of Christ as described by the Gospel writers. Many teams of scientists have failed to reproduce the process by which the shroud image was created and many suggest the shroud itself has been preserved as our only physical proof of the resurrection of Jesus. Pastor Baltz's presentation is open to the public.
